Senior Software Engineer – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance user-facing functionalities throughout Restream’s web applications.

• Design and execute the frontend architecture, UI components, and business logic for both new and existing features.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to transform intricate workflows into straightforward, user-friendly experiences.

• Take responsibility for features from the technical design phase through to implementation and deployment.

• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards within the team.

• Enhance frontend reliability, maintainability, and performance as the product grows.

• Investigate new technologies and pinpoint opportunities for product and engineering improvements.

• Contribute to the overall quality and direction of the product beyond individual tasks.

• Constructively challenge ideas and work together to create exceptional products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• In-depth production experience with React and contemporary frontend architecture.

• Familiarity with frontend state management systems.

• Solid understanding of modern ECMAScript and browser technologies.

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS.

• Sufficient backend knowledge to work confidently with Node.js, REST APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in modern engineering environments utilizing AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and continuous deployment.

• Strong focus on product quality, user experience, and implementation specifics.

• Ability to work independently, make informed technical decisions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

• Experience with additional programming languages or broader full-stack development is an advantage.
