Senior Software Engineer – DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Contribute to a robust platform designed to automate the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of GPU assets across various cloud providers.

• Develop comprehensive automation solutions for data center management, including break/fix tasks and the complete maintenance of large-scale Machine Learning systems.

• Establish monitoring and health management features that ensure the highest levels of reliability, availability, and scalability for GPU assets.

• Leverage diverse data streams, including GPU hardware diagnostics, cluster data, and network telemetry.

• Create automated testing infrastructure to validate the functionality of distributed systems.

• Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to guarantee seamless integration of software from hardware to AI training applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a comparable role focused on large-scale production systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Expert proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, Python, and/or Rust.

• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Robust experience in Linux system administration and management.

• Extensive knowledge of container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes and/or SLURM.

• Insight into performance, security, and reliability within complex distributed systems.

• Familiarity with system-level architecture, data synchronization, fault tolerance, and state management.

• Proficient in designing and constructing extensive distributed networks.

• Experience in independently managing large-scale distributed systems across various cloud providers.

• Significant expertise in data center operations and GPU hardware.

• Practical experience with RDMA networking.

• Advanced hands-on experience and a deep understanding of cluster management systems like Kubernetes and SLURM.
