Senior Software Engineer, Data & ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Analyze client data, create machine learning models, and evaluate them based on business and technical standards.

• Construct and manage data pipelines, from connecting source systems to transforming and delivering data.

• Transform models into production-ready services, encompassing training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.

• Assume responsibility for backend development, including APIs, services, and data processing integrations.

• Develop well-tested, documented, and maintainable code.

• Convert clients’ business inquiries into tangible use cases and evaluate feasibility based on available data.

• Contribute to the team’s reference architecture and introduce innovative concepts.

• Engage in solutions related to digital battery technology, GenAI, data management, traceability, and analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in client projects.

• Exceptional Python skills with experience in pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Familiarity with additional programming languages such as TypeScript or Java is a plus.

• Experience with LLMs, GenAI, and RAG architectures or fine-tuning.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.

• Knowledge of OpenSearch is a plus.

• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD.

• Familiarity with MLflow, KServe, and Kubernetes is advantageous.

• A genuine interest in addressing clients’ business challenges.

• Business-fluent in German.
