Data Engineer – Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in strategic initiatives that encompass migration, integration, automation, and enhancement of processes.

• Design, implement, and sustain data pipelines that link OMS/EMS platforms, risk and performance systems, internal platforms, custodians, and fund administrators.

• Construct data pipelines that are capable of pinpointing business opportunities utilizing both internal and external data.

• Establish and uphold highly reliable, high-performance ETL/ELT processes.

• Develop integrations utilizing APIs, SFTP, messaging, or proprietary connectors.

• Document processes, data flows, and technical solutions for future reference, ensuring that knowledge is effectively shared and preserved.

• Collaborate with business analysts to delineate calculation rules, granularity, data quality standards, and essential fields.

• Recognize and implement continuous improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, performance, governance, and cost-effectiveness, thereby delivering value to the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in data engineering within the financial markets.

• Strong proficiency in Databricks.

• Experience in optimizing ETL processes and configuring clusters.

• Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.

• Advanced understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and AI concepts.

• Strong analytical skills with the capability to resolve complex issues related to data and technology systems.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
