Data Engineer – Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain robust data architectures with a focus on optimization and scalability.

• Engage in strategic initiatives involving migration, integration, automation, and process enhancement.

• Design, implement, and support data pipelines that connect OMS/EMS, risk and performance systems, internal platforms, custodians, and administrators.

• Construct data pipelines that are capable of uncovering business opportunities from both internal and external data sources.

• Develop and uphold highly reliable, high-performance ETLs/ELTs.

• Create integrations using APIs, SFTP, messaging, or proprietary connectors.

• Document processes, data workflows, and technical solutions effectively.

• Collaborate with business analysts to establish calculation rules, granularity, data quality, and key fields.

• Drive continuous improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, performance, governance, and cost optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience in data engineering within the financial sector.

• Strong knowledge of Databricks.

• Experience in optimizing ETLs and configuring clusters.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.

• Advanced understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and AI concepts.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to solve complex data and technology system issues.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
