Senior Software Engineer – Cards

📋 Description

• Oversee projects from conceptualization to technical specifications, execution, and launch.

• Acquire and utilize knowledge regarding authorization, clearing, settlement, and disputes.

• Develop features across the entire stack, from user-facing card interfaces to backend financial systems.

• Assist in upholding exceptional operations and monitoring.

• Guide engineers and enhance engineering standards through design evaluations, code assessments, and teamwork.

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, risk, compliance, sales, and other departments.

• Robust full-stack expertise, a product-oriented mindset, systems thinking, and a talent for driving projects to completion.

• Proven experience in making architectural decisions for complex systems, along with the ability to articulate reasoning and trade-offs.

• A strong commitment to accuracy in systems where failures can lead to significant financial repercussions.

• Excellent communication skills, capability to navigate ambiguity, and a passion for mentoring others.

• Proficiency in Haskell and TypeScript, or a readiness to learn.

• Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or card issuance.
