Senior Software Engineer – Backend oriented

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable backend microservices within the Payments, Disbursements, or GRC teams.

• Develop and enhance systems for secure fund collection and transaction processing.

• Create and execute services for the secure and timely distribution of funds.

• Build and improve user onboarding, KYC, and compliance systems.

• Design and oversee infrastructure capable of managing millions of daily requests while ensuring strong security and performance.

• Leverage Google Cloud services and industry-standard tools to construct and maintain distributed systems.

• Collaborate with product, operations, compliance, and other business units.

• Mentor junior developers and advocate for engineering best practices.

• Utilize user feedback and system analytics to enhance platform functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficient or advanced English language skills.

• Demonstrated success in developing, launching, and refining software applications, especially within the Fintech sector.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience in designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts.

• Experience with payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-focused platforms is highly advantageous.

• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes.

• Dedication to continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.

• Equivalent skills in the mentioned areas will also be taken into account.
