📋 Description

• Design and uphold production applications operating within a multi-region AWS setup.

• Assist in the deployment of applications across various AWS regions.

• Diagnose issues related to applications and their deployment.

• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure dependable deployments.

• Contribute to the CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage with containerized and cloud-native applications.

• Ensure application availability, resilience, and compliance with disaster recovery protocols.

• Explore issues within application and cloud settings.

• Work closely with the Tech Lead on technical choices.

• Play a role in the broader multi-region architecture without full ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in real-world multi-region AWS environments, with the same application deployed in two or more regions.

• Proficient in operating, troubleshooting, or providing support for multi-region applications focusing on high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.

• Strong background in software development using Go, Python, and Node.js.

• Experience with production applications.

• Capable of diagnosing application issues and working directly within the codebase.

• Comfortable collaborating with infrastructure and DevOps teams.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly with cloud-native applications and production settings.

• Knowledgeable about application deployment and operation across regions.

• Solid exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, cloud deployments, containers/orchestration, and troubleshooting deployments.
