This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Provide disciplinary and technical leadership for the Cloud Engineering team, comprising 7 members.
• Oversee coaching, conduct performance reviews, support employee development, and manage personnel reporting.
• Take charge of recruitment, as well as strategic workforce, capacity, and resource planning.
• Cultivate a high-performing engineering culture with a strong emphasis on service and customer orientation.
• Collaborate with the Business Line to further enhance the service and performance portfolio.
• Ensure sustainable knowledge and competence management within the team.
• Define, establish, and uphold professional and methodological standards and best practices.
• Encourage innovation and stay ahead of new technologies and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to normative, regulatory, and strategic requirements.
• Contribute to budget planning, investment decisions, and the strategic growth of the area of responsibility.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and facilitate organization-wide knowledge transfer.
• Manage escalations related to complex technical or organizational challenges.
• Continuously improve processes, policies, and governance models.
• Actively participate in shaping technical solutions and serve as a sparring partner on complex projects.
• Extensive leadership and practical experience in an engineering or infrastructure setting.
• Relevant industry experience in IT, preferably within a managed services context.
• Completed higher professional education (HF/FH) in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern cloud, platform, and infrastructure services.
• Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams and specialist functions.
• Familiarity with knowledge, competence, and talent management is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical specialists.
• Strong inclination towards standardization, quality management, and automation.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial, and connected thinking.
• Proven ability to take ownership and build trust consistently.

• Flexible working hours with a standard 40-hour workweek and part-time options available.
• Location-independent work with the possibility to work from home or remotely within Switzerland.
• 25 vacation days per year (increasing to 27 days from age 40 and 30 days from age 50).
