This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Provide disciplinary and functional leadership to the Cloud Engineering team, which consists of seven members.
• Engage in coaching, conduct performance reviews, support employee development, and manage personnel reporting.
• Oversee recruitment efforts and strategic planning for workforce capacity and resource allocation.
• Cultivate a high-performing engineering culture that prioritizes strong service and customer orientation.
• Collaborate with the Business Line to enhance the service and performance portfolio.
• Ensure the dependable operation, ongoing development, and innovation of customer platforms.
• Promote sustainable knowledge sharing and competency management within the team.
• Define, implement, and uphold professional and methodological standards, as well as best practices.
• Encourage innovation and stay abreast of new technologies and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to normative, regulatory, and strategic requirements.
• Contribute to budget planning, investment choices, and the strategic evolution of the area of responsibility.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and facilitate organization-wide knowledge transfer.
• Manage escalations related to complex technical or organizational issues.
• Continuously refine processes, policies, and governance models.
• Actively participate in devising technical solutions and serve as a sparring partner for challenging projects.
• Extensive leadership and hands-on experience within an engineering or infrastructure context.
• Relevant industry experience in IT, preferably within a managed services setting.
• Completed higher professional education (HF/FH) in Computer Science or a similar qualification.
• Profound understanding of contemporary cloud, platform, and infrastructure services.
• Proven experience in leading and nurturing technical teams and specialized functions.
• Background in knowledge, competency, and talent management is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical experts effectively.
• Strong inclination towards standardization, quality management, and automation.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
• Connected, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Capability to assume visible responsibility and build trust through reliability.
• Ability to nurture employee development and encourage ownership.

• Flexible working hours based on a 40-hour workweek, with part-time options available.
• Location-independent work arrangements, including the option to work from home or remotely from Switzerland.
