Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of experiments from start to finish: establish hypotheses, design testing procedures, implement solutions for users, and derive insights from data.

• Create functional prototypes for innovative products and experiences, ranging from consumer interfaces to entirely new platforms.

• Leverage AI-assisted development, agentic coding practices, and automation to enhance prototyping and problem-solving efforts.

• Collect evidence through A/B testing, user feedback, and telemetry, placing priority on quantitative data.

• Work collaboratively with the product owner and cross-functional teams to develop experiments and guide product strategy.

• Strike a balance between speed and sound engineering principles concerning security and compliance, engaging legal teams early to mitigate risks.

• Document and disseminate insights with the wider organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in developing and launching software products.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and foster discovery through experimentation.

• Significant experience with AI technologies, agentic coding methodologies, and automation tools.

• Proven experience in delivering full-stack web applications utilizing NextJS/Typescript for the frontend and Django/Python for the backend.

• Practical experience in developing product features using LLMs and foundation model APIs.

• Capability to swiftly create and evaluate functional prototypes.

• Familiarity with hypothesis-driven product development, setting metrics, conducting experiments/A/B tests, and making data-informed decisions.

• Strong engineering judgment concerning prototyping, security, compliance, and reliability.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bonus: experience as a founder or in an early-stage startup, exposure to consumer or e-commerce products, or knowledge of the healthcare/HSA-FSA sector.
