Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy top-tier, comprehensive transportation management software tailored for bulk commodity haulers.

• Tackle engaging and complex challenges faced by users.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers, product management, and UX teams.

• Gain insights into the trucking sector and the businesses and workflows of users.

• Consistently build and release features on a daily or weekly basis.

• Engage in pair programming, team discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Actively identify and accomplish tasks that align with team objectives and business requirements.

• Provide support to colleagues across all departments within the organization.

• Maintain a balance between product quality and delivery speed while making informed trade-offs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of both Ruby on Rails and React.

• Experience in a remote-first work environment.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering web-based software products.

• Capability and motivation to rapidly develop and deploy features on a daily or weekly basis.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to accept direction and constructive feedback from senior team members.

• Strong interest in learning about the trucking industry, engaging with customers, and understanding their businesses and workflows.

• Empathy towards users and team members.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
