Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and develop systems for managing reservations, availability, scheduling, and resources.

• Revise and enhance a substantial production codebase.

• Innovate new products and features from inception to implementation.

• Engage with the TypeScript, Express, and Next.js technology stack.

• Design workflows that encompass reservations, payments, refunds, and accounting processes.

• Make strategic architectural choices that influence the platform's evolution.

• Simplify intricate systems and construct new solutions.

• Work in collaboration with a two-member engineering team.

• Take part in recruiter screenings, system design interviews, client resume evaluations, client screenings, and client system design interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Hands-on production experience with Node.js/Express and React/Next.js.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, APIs, and data modeling.

• Experience with both established codebases and new projects.

• Strong engineering intuition and ability to work independently with significant ownership.

• Familiarity with reservation, scheduling, payments, or financial systems is advantageous.
