Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services utilizing PHP Laravel.

• Architect microservices and play a key role in the advancement of distributed systems.

• Integrate AI and LLMs to streamline workflows and minimize manual tasks for merchants.

• Ensure performance and reliability for a platform that manages millions of shipments each month.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams from the initial discovery phase to final delivery.

• Write clean, tested, and production-ready code while adhering to engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Extensive expertise in PHP Laravel.

• Strong grasp of system design, clean architecture, and engineering trade-offs.

• Experience with microservices, asynchronous patterns, and distributed systems.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with SaaS products or platforms is highly desirable.

• Background in AI/ML integration, LLMs, or intelligent automation is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with NodeJS or Python for backend development.

• Ability to approach problems logically, maintain curiosity, and focus on solutions.

• Capability to take ownership and work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced team environments.
