Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create software applications and functionalities utilizing Golang and React.

• Develop scalable distributed architecture solutions while ensuring consistency.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design products that excel in the market.

• Generate and analyze metrics to facilitate ongoing improvement efforts.

• Deliver features of high quality and rigorously tested, meeting reporting standards.

• Lead small development teams as required to launch projects successfully.

• Provide mentorship to engineering colleagues.

• Work in conjunction with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams.

• Offer innovative and scalable solutions to address both internal and customer challenges.

• Iterate based on feedback from both internal and external users.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years in full-stack software engineering.

• Proven ability to introduce new ideas and build consensus on the way forward.

• Proficient in building and serving REST APIs, preferably using Go, along with Java, Python, or a similar language.

• Experience in a distributed, cloud-based architecture.

• Familiarity with transactional outboxes or queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proficient in SQL-based RDBMS through the use of an ORM tool.

• Understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, NewRelic, or Datadog.

• Experience in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.

• Proven track record of delivering commercial APIs and web applications.

• History of bringing products to market while prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
