Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Break down intricate business scenarios into streamlined, service-oriented architectures and distributed systems.

• Revamp legacy platforms to enhance simplicity, maintainability, and long-term return on investment.

• Convert orthodontic insurance regulations related to claims, eligibility, and remittance into efficient technical solutions.

• Take ownership of Epic delivery from start to finish, overseeing risks, dependencies, team-level DORA KPIs, system performance, and delivery consistency.

• Create clean, robust, and maintainable full-stack code utilizing React and .NET Core/.NET Framework.

• Integrate AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot for design purposes, test generation, and code reviews.

• Develop agentic workflows to enhance team productivity.

• Set code quality standards through code reviews, automated testing, AI-driven test suites, and CI/CD practices.

• Guide junior and mid-level engineers on software design patterns.

• Troubleshoot cross-module issues and constructively manage technical stakeholders.

• Plan large workstreams and identify non-functional requirements for Epics.

• Clarify vague problem scopes and deliver data-driven analysis for ongoing process enhancements.

• Convey technical information effectively to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.

• Recognize cross-team dependencies and design reusable, modular components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (4-year) or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 4 years in a Senior Software Engineer position or a similar role.

• Strong, hands-on expertise with the .NET Ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET Framework).

• Solid relational database design skills using SQL Server, including query optimization.

• Significant experience in creating responsive, scalable user interfaces with React and/or Angular.

• Practical knowledge of applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

• Experience in developing service-based or distributed architectures.

• Strong proficiency with AWS services or other prominent cloud architectures.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.

• Understanding of high-volume batch processing, background automated jobs, and complex data streams.

• Experience or active experimentation with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.

• Familiarity with Gen AI, enterprise agentic workflows, or Model Context Protocols (MCPs).

• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Playwright or equivalent, driven by AI agents.

• Must be able to live and work full-time in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
