Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and create highly reliable services and infrastructure across various geographic regions within a multi-cloud setting.

• Develop, sustain, and manage SaaS, BYOC, and on-premise solutions.

• Maintain infrastructure-as-code for deploying resources on Kubernetes across diverse cloud environments.

• Engage in design reviews, code assessments, and participate in on-call rotations.

• Work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team to enhance end-to-end customer experiences.

• Take ownership of products and features throughout their entire lifecycle, which includes documentation and both manual and automated testing.

• Implement dependable distributed systems that handle petabyte-scale data across various products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong desire and self-motivation to excel in a fast-paced, high-demand startup environment.

• Over 6 years of industry experience encompassing software development, architecture, cloud technologies, networking, and contemporary application design.

• Proven experience in building large-scale, API-first production web services.

• Proficiency in Java is required.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to customers, non-technical stakeholders, and engineers.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, GovCloud, Azure Cloud, or GCP.

• Bonus: Knowledge of the BYOC deployment model.

• Bonus: Contributions to open source projects.
