Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in development initiatives and enhancements for ServiceNow.

• Manage and resolve troubleshooting tickets within ServiceNow.

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy solutions including business rules, client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs, notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.

• Utilize development skills encompassing HTML, CSS, and Angular JS.

• Create and manage update sets to transfer customizations across ServiceNow instances.

• Design and sustain a highly available and recoverable environment.

• Evaluate requirements to ensure they contain enough detail for precise estimation.

• Actively maintain and enhance ServiceNow skills.

• Conduct peer reviews, mentor teammates, and share technical expertise with the service management team.

• Collaborate with process owners and various stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of total experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

• Experience within an ITSM organizational structure.

• Background in implementing core process areas such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB.

• Proven development experience with ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of ITIL practices.

• Possession of ServiceNow System Admin Certification.

• Certification as a ServiceNow Application Developer.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent professional experience.

• Availability for evening shifts from 5 PM to 2 AM IST.
