This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Take ownership of services that manage prescription processing from the initial intake to the dispatch of orders to pharmacies for fulfillment.
β’ Accurately and swiftly prepare prescriptions for fulfillment and delivery through a combination of automation and manual task coordination.
β’ Facilitate partners including drug manufacturers, insurers, and providers in configuring billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.
β’ Utilize LLMs to analyze unstructured prescription data and enhance intake automation.
β’ Incorporate controlled substance dispensing history and risk scores into pharmacists' safety and review workflows.
β’ Optimize drug selection to ensure patients receive the best pricing available.
β’ Maintain a balance between low inventory levels and high product availability.
β’ Lay the groundwork for a scalable inventory management platform.
β’ Guide engineers and promote best practices in software development and design.
β’ Tackle intricate technical challenges at the intersection of healthcare and e-commerce.
β’ Serve as a thought leader on predictive systems and influence technical strategy.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent level of experience.
β’ Over 10 years of progressive experience in software engineering within a high-volume, high-throughput production setting.
β’ Strong background in Backend or Full Stack technologies.
β’ Familiarity with modern development environments such as Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
β’ Proven expertise in architecting complex systems focused on long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
β’ Solid engineering fundamentals with experience in building high-volume, resilient systems.
β’ Established technical best practices, including code style, documentation, code review, bug resolution, and production issue management.
β’ Extensive experience with supply chain optimization systems.
β’ Experience in building and integrating predictive machine learning models.
β’ Proficient in designing and implementing service-oriented architectures.
β’ Capability to work at a computer terminal for prolonged periods and meet the listed physical requirements.
β’ Willingness to travel occasionally and endure extended periods of sitting on airplanes and/or in vehicles.
β’ Must possess authorization to work for any employer within the U.S.
