This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, construct, and sustain scalable end-to-end automated UI and API testing suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript across various product domains.
β’ Create and implement automated data-generation tools along with synthetic applicant profile generators employing Python and REST APIs.
β’ Develop intuitive front-end tools in React and TypeScript for external vendor teams and government stakeholders to craft test scenarios and oversee pipeline status.
β’ Build, uphold, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that support quality gates and feature-driven promotion methodologies.
β’ Lead rotating sprint triage initiatives to troubleshoot failures within a complex multi-vendor landscape.
β’ Determine whether issues arise from changes in the cloud environment, vendor code deployments, or test configurations.
β’ Offer constructive feedback through code reviews and one-on-one mentorship.
β’ Set high standards for code quality and establish team development practices.
β’ Act as a technical liaison for client leads and external vendor teams.
β’ Assist with cloud infrastructure updates using Terraform.
β’ Integrate automated security scanning and navigate ongoing compliance processes in a FedRAMP/Public Trust setting.
β’ Over 5 years of professional experience in developing full-stack applications and tools using TypeScript and Python.
β’ Hands-on experience in writing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
β’ Experience in designing intricate systems that interact with external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
β’ Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional agile teams.
β’ Proficiency in estimating complex engineering tasks.
β’ Experience in directly communicating technical updates to client stakeholders.
β’ Strong diagnostic capabilities for resolving complex, distributed multi-vendor application failures and microservices.
β’ Previous experience with federal government digital service projects or civic tech initiatives.
β’ Knowledge of AWS GovCloud environments.
β’ Understanding of FedRAMP compliance standards.
β’ Familiarity with observability tools.
β’ Experience in implementing synthetic test data generators or complex mock data services for enterprise integrations.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Ability to fulfill any additional requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired.
β’ Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
β’ May be required to undergo a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.
β’ Must reside in the continental/contiguous United States.
β’ Contracts generally require recent residency in the US: at least 3 out of the past 5 years.
