Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of major software features or projects.

• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers by providing technical expertise.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to clarify and prioritize software requirements.

• Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality.

• Analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges and bottlenecks.

• Contribute to the enhancement of development processes and software architecture.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and enhance products.

• Create and illustrate solutions through comprehensive documentation, code comments, and concise, effective code.

• Aid in code reviews and reinforce standard practices within the team.

• Commit to continuous learning and adaptation to contemporary technologies and development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of practical technology experience.

• Capability to work autonomously and comprehend the technical design of a system.

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Pro*C, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, UNIX (Solaris), and Java.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in Shell Programming (C-shell, KORN Shell) and Perl.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Competence to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Experience in system design alongside other technical architects.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with JavaScript and either Angular or React JS framework is an advantage.

• Experience with Oracle Forms is a plus.
