This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, maintain, and provide support for IME’s web applications.
• Collaborate within an agile development team to collect specifications for application modifications and upkeep.
• Suggest alternative development strategies for solutions.
• Analyze, design, create, and test user-focused software solutions.
• Design and implement database solutions for enhancements.
• Maintain current software to enhance usability and performance.
• Work in conjunction with product, design, and operations teams to deliver impactful features.
• Perform root cause analysis and document findings.
• Guide technical decision-making and mentor junior engineers.
• Identify bottlenecks and enact performance enhancements across the technology stack.
• Establish and maintain product templates to ensure uniformity.
• Set up and oversee web analytics based on reporting needs.
• Advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Investigate emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Collect specifications from business stakeholders and deliver approved enhancement requests.
• Execute additional responsibilities as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 6 years of experience in web application development.
• Proficient in C# and full MS Stack development.
• Experienced with .NET and .NET Core frameworks.
• Familiar with MVC frameworks.
• Knowledgeable in client/server technologies.
• Proficient with SQL Servers, SSMS, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with cloud-native patterns and platforms such as Azure, Amazon, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with RESTful Services.
• Background in high-performance and scalable systems.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS/SCSS.
• Experienced with JavaScript and jQuery; familiarity with VueJS or React is acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience in building scalable web applications and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
