Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Accountable for enhancing Circle's proprietary blockchain infrastructure to facilitate the tokenization of global assets.

• Assessing requirements, processes, and challenges to refine existing systems and implement modifications.

• Designing and managing scalable microservices that ensure reliable and secure APIs for transferring value and assets across all blockchain and traditional banking protocols.

• Working in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to conceptualize, test, and develop Circle features.

• Creating and documenting system design methodologies, testing protocols, and quality benchmarks.

• Diagnosing program and system failures to restore normal operations.

• Developing publicly accessible APIs that simplify integration for developers working with intricate payment systems.

• Connecting Platform Services with top-tier banks and financial technologies.

• Advising management to ensure consensus on system principles.

• Constructing the infrastructure necessary to deliver exceptional payment experiences, including data sources (SQL or NoSQL), messaging systems, and APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Go.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience leading technical teams (2-4 members) in architecture and system design.

• Proficient with Golang Web Frameworks like Gin and Fasthttp, and familiar with Golang development tools such as go mod and go lint.

• Comprehensive understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.

• Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.).

• Experience working with SQL databases and schema design.

• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software.

• Strong focus on coding standards and code quality, with a commitment to achieving substantial test coverage to facilitate continuous delivery.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating with remote teams, sharing ideas, and effectively presenting concepts.

• Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, eager to deliver software that enhances user experience while continuously improving work with minimal oversight.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
