Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers and managers to develop applications utilized by hotel customers globally.

• Produce clean, self-documenting code adhering to best practices and design patterns through agentic development flows.

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the product and technology.

• Consider broader aspects beyond ticket specifics to delight customers and drive business growth.

• Engage in one-on-one mentoring and participate in active code reviews.

• Provide guidance to the tech lead on technical decisions.

• Take initiative and complete projects with minimal direction.

• Construct and maintain full-stack applications for Canary's hospitality-oriented AI platform.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to guide product decisions.

• Develop and manage services operating at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the field.

• Strong understanding of backend application development.

• Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with popular front-end frameworks such as VueJS or ReactJS.

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality products.

• Experience with mobile applications or React Native.

• Capability to build quality, maintainable full-stack applications.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and function effectively as an individual contributor.

• A strong passion for and commitment to operational excellence.
