Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers, ensuring productivity, quality of work, and output levels are maintained.

• Organize the initiation of projects, conduct demonstrations, and facilitate post-project evaluations.

• Manage project status updates, facilitate technical discussions, and promote knowledge sharing among team members.

• Relay project and departmental updates, as well as priorities to the team effectively.

• Report on team progress, status, and any potential challenges to the Project Manager.

• Enhance team performance, refine development processes, and improve the quality of deliveries.

• Identify obstacles, resolve issues, and escalate matters as necessary.

• Balance team workload according to project priorities, capacity, and requirements.

• Collaborate with the software development team to sustain and improve existing applications.

• Modify software as needed, address issues, and propose effective solutions.

• Prepare reports, manuals, and documentation related to software status, operations, and maintenance.

• Maintain the team’s web page.

• Create innovative software designs utilizing current technologies.

• Implement and enhance high-quality system components.

• Ensure the integrity and quality of component design throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Advanced or expert knowledge of contemporary technologies.

• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and enhancing proprietary software solutions.

• Capability to lead and support a team of software developers.

• Proficient in coordinating project launches, conducting demonstrations, managing post-project reviews, and facilitating communications and technical discussions.

• Ability to sustain and enhance existing computer programs.

• Skill in modifying software, identifying and communicating issues, and recommending effective solutions.

• Competence in preparing documentation related to software status, operations, and maintenance.

• Ability to develop software designs that align with business requirements.

• Proficiency in implementing and enhancing high-quality system components.

• Ability to ensure the integrity and quality of component design throughout the software development lifecycle.
