Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver Alti product functionalities from start to finish, encompassing conversational AI, agents, and automated processes.

• Design and enhance RAG pipelines and prompt strategies.

• Create LLM evaluation pipelines to assess quality and identify regressions.

• Establish monitoring and observability for AI functionalities, which include prompts, models, and usage metrics.

• Assist in deploying ML models to production while implementing monitoring and continuous feedback mechanisms.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to pinpoint customer challenges that AI and ML solutions can address.

• Work within a small team alongside engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer.

• Contribute to enhancing evaluation, observability, and production ML methodologies within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a software engineer in developing and launching product features.

• Hands-on involvement with AI products over the past year, including LLMs, agents, or AI functionalities.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following: chatbots/conversational AI, RAG, or LLM evaluation pipelines.

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python.

• Strong product-oriented mindset focused on delivering features that benefit users.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership throughout the delivery process.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Experience in prompt engineering (preferred).

• Knowledge of AI monitoring and observability tools (preferred).

• Experience with autonomous or personal agents on platforms such as Slack, Teams, or WhatsApp (preferred).

• Experience in deploying ML models to production with monitoring and feedback mechanisms (preferred).

• Background in fintech, payments, or financial products (preferred).

• Experience in building and scaling ML/LLM products (preferred).

• Previous experience at an early-stage startup, ranging from Seed to Series B (preferred).
