Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Upgrade existing .NET Framework applications, such as Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms, to .NET 8.

• Modernize user interfaces utilizing Blazor and Angular technologies.

• Refactor and enhance codebases to ensure maintainability and scalability.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Implement database integration using ADO.NET and micro-ORMs like Dapper.

• Mentor junior developers throughout the modernization projects.

• Lead architectural discussions on microservices, API-first design, and contemporary security practices.

• Influence enterprise application architecture and guide cloud-native and cross-platform engineering strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in .NET development.

• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework (4.x) and .NET 8.

• Practical experience with Windows Services, Console Apps, and Web Forms.

• Demonstrated expertise in Blazor (Server/Web Assembly) and Angular (2+).

• Proficient in ADO.NET and micro-ORMs such as Dapper.

• Solid background in application containerization techniques (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
