This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Design and develop iOS application software from initial concept to production for millions of drivers and vehicles globally.
• Engage in the review, evaluation, and feedback process on product designs and architectures with a focus on software engineering.
• Assess and suggest new and emerging products and technologies.
• Create and enhance high-quality documentation tailored for software engineers.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, product designers, and other technical specialists.
• Maintain continuous interaction with product owners, software engineers, and designers.
• Deliver a shippable product frequently and promptly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience combined with education.
• Over 5 years of practical software engineering experience in native iOS Application Development.
• More than 5 years of experience with Swift and the iOS app development ecosystem.
• At least 3 years of experience in mobile frontend application architecture, including modular application design, state management, and navigation strategies.
• A strong ethos in software testing and a preference for working within an agile framework.
• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade software or services.
• Proficient in working within CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with software operations (DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, Support and Maintenance), including debugging in local environments, tracing production issues, performance testing, and load testing.
• Strong skills in Swift iOS development.
• Extensive experience in designing user interfaces with SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of CI (Fastlane) and scripting capabilities.
• Understanding of popular architectural choices on Apple platforms (MVVM, MVC, etc.).
• Practical knowledge of the Composable Architecture library (TCA) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Ruby for scripting tasks.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
