Document Management Software Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assess user stories, functional requirements, interface specifications, and business processes to determine test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and integration testing needs.

• Create, develop, and maintain test cases and scripts for CCARS functionality, SAP integrations, document workflows, interfaces, and associated business processes.

• Validate the functionality of CCARS content capture, document processing, indexing, metadata, routing, workflow, retrieval, permissions, and records management.

• Verify the exchanges of inbound and outbound documents and data between SAP and CCARS, including mappings, status updates, error handling, reconciliation, and end-to-end traceability.

• Validate workflows that span CCARS and SAP, covering submission, routing, approvals, status changes, notifications, and downstream processing.

• Confirm user roles, access controls, document permissions, and security-related functionalities.

• Document defects with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and supporting evidence; manage issues until resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, SAP functional teams, business analysts, product owners, integration teams, and external stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain test cases, test data sets, interface validation evidence, workflow results, and traceability matrices.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Identify opportunities to enhance integration testing, test coverage, traceability, and quality assurance practices.

• Support USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System, a critical platform modernizing transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum Secret security clearance is required to begin; an active Secret clearance is necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.

• At least 5 years of manual software testing experience with large-scale ERP, enterprise business, or integrated information systems is mandatory.

• Demonstrated hands-on testing experience with CCARS or a similar enterprise content, capture, document, records, or workflow management platform integrated with SAP.

• Up to 10% travel may be required.

• Experience in testing document, content, metadata, workflow, records, capture, or enterprise content management systems integrated with SAP is necessary.

• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing is essential.

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and ceremonies is required.

• Ability to test user roles, access controls, document permissions, and security-related functionalities is necessary.

• Capability to create test cases, test scripts, test data sets, interface validation evidence, test results, and traceability matrices is required.
