Senior Software Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive integration patterns that link cloud-native SaaS, Epic EMR, Enterprise Data Platform, and various engineering domains.

• Design and implement software applications and digital solutions.

• Perform system testing, debugging, and conduct peer code assessments.

• Guarantee the reliability, stability, and scalability of the integration layer.

• Serve as a technical advisor to Product and Business leaders.

• Work with interdisciplinary teams to refine requirements and suggest design patterns.

• Investigate tools and frameworks to foster innovation.

• Integrate AI/ML into the development process along with intelligent automation.

• Develop and maintain system designs, architecture diagrams, and established best practices.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and promote platform self-service.

• Clarify ambiguous requirements by engaging with stakeholders and crafting suitable solutions.

• Enhance Payer Operations by improving Payer metadata, automating Payer lifecycle contracts, and evaluating Payer performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems.

• Practical experience in dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.

• Proficiency in programming and modifying code in SQL, Python, and other languages.

• Experience in supporting and implementing cloud-based and on-premises data warehousing services.

• Direct experience in troubleshooting data-related issues.

• Practical experience with performance enhancement techniques.

• Ability to recognize and implement process enhancements and best practices.

• Capacity to take initiative in a dynamic, collaborative, team-oriented support environment.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Preferred familiarity with HIPAA compliance, payor contracts, and healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
