This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Oversee the design and creation of quantitative data engineering models, which encompass algorithms, data pipelines, and data processing systems.
β’ Develop and sustain pipelines to ingest, cleanse, transform, and aggregate substantial volumes of data.
β’ Create and execute algorithms for data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
β’ Enhance data processing and modeling algorithms for improved performance, scalability, and efficient resource usage.
β’ Generate visualizations for data and model outputs to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
β’ Establish data quality checks and validation procedures.
β’ Assess model performance through metrics and validation techniques, refining processes to boost accuracy and effectiveness.
β’ Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and deliver actionable insights.
β’ Maintain thorough documentation of model design, implementation, evaluation, assumptions, methodologies, and outcomes.
β’ Keep abreast of trends, tools, and technologies within the realms of quantitative data engineering and data science.
β’ Solid foundation in data engineering principles, including data ingestion, processing, transformation, and storage, utilizing tools and frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or AWS Glue.
β’ Expertise in quantitative analysis methods, encompassing statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
β’ Proven experience in implementing algorithms for regression analysis, clustering, classification, and predictive modeling.
β’ Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
β’ Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation tasks.
β’ Knowledge of Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache Hive, or AWS EMR.
β’ Experience using visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
β’ Basic understanding of PyTorch.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
β’ Strong software development capabilities, including knowledge of software design patterns, Git, and software testing frameworks.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
β’ Domain expertise in finance, healthcare, or marketing sectors.
β’ Dedication to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in data engineering, quantitative analysis, and machine learning technologies.
