This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Design, lead, and enhance scalable automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts for web front-end products across various product streams.
• Spearhead integration, regression, and performance testing initiatives.
• Integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and testing strategies.
• Develop and sustain automated testing frameworks, tools, and scripts for web front-end products (15%).
• Create and execute integration, regression, and performance tests using industry-standard tools (35%).
• Construct and improve scalable, reusable test automation solutions while integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Plan and test new features while creating targeted test scenarios (25%).
• Investigate and adopt new automated testing tools and techniques in line with industry best practices (25%).
• Actively eliminate obstacles to guarantee smooth test execution and delivery.
• Promote testing best practices through ongoing tooling innovation and process enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 8 years of experience in the designated role or a comparable software testing position.
• 7 years of experience in the design and implementation of testing automation frameworks.
• 7 years of experience in UI/Web UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
• 7 years of experience in conducting framework/tool research and experimentation.
• 7 years of experience in identifying bottlenecks.
• 7 years of programming/scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or other similar languages.
• 5 years of experience with integration and regression testing.
• 4 years of experience with BDD/POM or similar test structure patterns.
• 4 years of experience integrating test artifacts with CI/CD pipelines.
• 2 years of experience with SQL and database management.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proven technical leadership experience through code reviews, mentoring team members, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Must complete and pass pre-hire technical assessments: Python coding exercise, framework design challenge, bug-finding/exploratory test case review, and CI/CD integration scenario.
• Must be able to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., excluding U.S. territories.
• Required travel for team meetings or company gatherings approximately two times a year.
