FullStack Engineer – React, Django – AI Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy comprehensive features utilizing both the React frontend and Django backend.

• Create adaptive web applications leveraging React and Material UI.

• Design backend services and APIs using Python and Django, including Django Rest Framework or similar technologies.

• Build clean and responsive React user interfaces linked to company services.

• Implement algorithmic and AI functionalities, such as scoring, ranking, and decision-making rules, and present these in the user interface.

• Produce pragmatic, production-ready code that can be rapidly deployed and easily iterated on.

• Oversee features from start to finish, encompassing data model design, API development, and UI implementation.

• Collaborate with a small distributed team across various countries, delivering quickly and refining based on feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in React and Material UI.

• Proficient in designing and constructing RESTful APIs; familiarity with DRF or similar frameworks is advantageous.

• Experience handling complex business logic or algorithms, such as decision flows, scoring mechanisms, or optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of query performance, common pitfalls, and caching strategies.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining clear communication.

• Comfortable coding with AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.

• Proven track record of shipping complete products in startups, personal projects, or hackathons.

• Background in algorithms or data-intensive systems.

• Familiarity with GCP, Redis, or Docker/Kubernetes.

• Experience with React Native is a plus.
