Senior Software Developer, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the software development team, focused on crafting innovative software solutions for clinics and hospitals.

• Create, develop, and enhance modern cloud-native applications.

• Design and establish resilient microservice architectures for future needs.

• Ensure the system's availability, scalability, data privacy, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop and integrate AI-driven features into existing applications.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, focusing on performance optimization and data consistency.

• Employ contemporary development practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and Clean Code.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and interdisciplinary teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in professional software development.

• Strong comprehension of modern software architectures.

• Ideally, experience with Java (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate) or C# (.NET); familiarity with other object-oriented programming languages is an advantage.

• Awareness of Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and Clean Code principles.

• Practical experience in developing and managing cloud services.

• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, redundancy reduction, performance optimization, and data consistency.

• Experience in developing distributed systems and a keen interest in modern, scalable cloud architectures.

• Proficiency in Docker, with a preference for familiarity with additional container technologies.

• Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a plus.
