Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of designing, developing, and testing critical Veeam Kasten features associated with the backup and recovery of Kubernetes applications, databases, and storage systems.

• Enhance internal tools to boost developer experience and facilitate efficient releases of Veeam Kasten every sprint.

• Work collaboratively with distributed teams across various time zones and regions.

• Create technical documentation and specifications.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers and support projects throughout the product lifecycle.

• Share the responsibility of maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Address and resolve customer issues promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing enterprise solutions using a high-level programming language such as Go, C++, or Java.

• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures.

• Proficiency in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, and concurrent systems.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• Experience in Go development.

• Knowledge of developing for and within containers, container schedulers, and orchestration platforms.

• Experience with databases and/or storage systems, particularly in the public cloud.

• Proficient in developing for various architectures such as amd64, arm64, and ppc64le.
