Senior Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications utilizing .NET Core, .NET Framework, and C#.

• Create scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions that support mission-critical healthcare workflows.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering colleagues to define and deliver product features.

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Design and optimize MongoDB data models, indexing strategies, and performance tuning solutions.

• Advocate for clean code, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

• Work in an Agile environment to deliver customer-centric enhancements and features.

• Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and internal microservices.

• Modernize systems, reduce technical debt, and enhance platform performance and reliability.

• Utilize modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development capabilities.

• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.

• Contribute to engineering standards, development frameworks, and architectural best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on .NET technologies.

• In-depth expertise in C# and .NET application development.

• Significant experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Proven experience designing scalable, distributed, and maintainable enterprise applications.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and modern software design patterns.

• Experience with Git, source control best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to balance technical excellence with business outcomes and customer needs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in building or supporting microservices-based architectures.

• Front-end development experience using React or Angular.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.

• Knowledge of AI-powered development tools.

• Experience with Azure DevOps.

• Background in healthcare technology or SaaS is a plus.
