Senior Software Architect – C#, AI First

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, secure, and highly available SaaS applications utilizing C#, .NET, and cloud-native architectures.

• Establish technical architecture and engineering standards across various products and teams.

• Lead the adoption of microservices, domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, event-driven systems, and API-first methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and fellow Architects to deliver dependable and maintainable solutions.

• Mentor senior engineers and offer technical guidance on architecture, design choices, and implementation strategies.

• Propel advancements in system performance, scalability, observability, and security.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, including code quality, automated testing, and operational excellence.

• Champion AI-driven software development by incorporating modern AI tools and workflows into daily engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a role as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or technical leader.

• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Angular (v16+).

• Significant experience in designing enterprise SaaS platforms using microservices, DDD, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.

• Practical experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure and cloud-native application design.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (DocumentDB is a plus).

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance engineering productivity.

• Familiarity with contemporary AI concepts and workflows, including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic development practices.

• Nice to have: Experience with GraphQL APIs, Kubernetes and container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Observability platforms like CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic, Platform Engineering experience, AI agent development or autonomous workflow orchestration, AWS Solutions Architect certification.
