Senior Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define the structural framework for systems, applications, and technological solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.

• Develop and document standards for architecture, best practices for development, and technical guidelines.

• Assess both functional and non-functional requirements, recommending solutions for performance, availability, scalability, and security.

• Choose the most suitable technologies, frameworks, programming languages, databases, and platforms for each initiative.

• Design integrations among systems, APIs, microservices, cloud applications, and enterprise solutions.

• Act as a technical resource for development teams, guiding architectural choices and endorsing technical reviews.

• Ensure the quality of architecture through code evaluations, design assessments, and validation of executed solutions.

• Identify technical risks, suggest mitigation strategies, and facilitate the ongoing evolution of systems architecture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning development, infrastructure, information security, operations, and business sectors.

• Outline strategies for technology modernization, plans for legacy system migration, and the adoption of cloud-based architectures.

• Advocate for DevOps methodologies, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), observability, and process automation.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, security protocols, IT governance, and corporate guidelines.

• Execute proofs of concept (PoCs), assess new technologies, and recommend their integration.

• Assist in the technical planning of projects, estimate efforts, and define technology roadmaps.
