Senior Shooting Editor, Video

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop captivating content that is evaluated based on views, saves, shares, and various engagement metrics.

• Edit and compile raw footage into refined videos tailored for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and additional platforms.

• Monitor social video formats and editing trends.

• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to meet urgent requests and tight deadlines.

• Engage in creative brainstorming sessions, project kickoffs, and team meetings.

• Contribute valuable ideas and assist in shaping strategy.

• Mentor Creators, Creator Residents, and occasionally Art Directors and Copywriters.

• Educate and guide teams on best practices, ideation processes, and execution methods.

• Oversee the capture of content during live events.

• Infuse creative direction and craftsmanship into ongoing creator campaigns.

• Direct global talent.

• Support teams throughout the content production process from concept development to capture, posting, and beyond.

• Collaborate with the creative lead to guarantee high-quality creative output across the account.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional creative experience.

• Demonstrated expertise as a video shooter/editor, ideally within advertising, digital media, or a related sector.

• Strong comprehension of video production methodologies, including lighting, framing, and audio techniques.

• Advanced skill and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

• Capable of executing content creation from inception to completion.

• A strong passion for video and motion design.

• Responsible, accountable, and a self-starter showing initiative.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.

• Capacity to partner with the creative lead to ensure high-quality creative outputs.
