This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to grasp the objectives, branding, and vision for each video project.

• Transform raw video footage into captivating, high-quality content ready for publication.

• Design custom graphics and animation elements as required to align with client branding.

• Source and integrate appropriate music or sound effects into the videos.

• Apply SEO strategies to enhance video content for YouTube's search algorithm.

• Deliver finalized video files in the correct format for each respective platform.

• Effectively manage, back up, and organize all video files.

• Keep informed about YouTube's policies, emerging trends, and best practices.

• Continuously seek ways to enhance and streamline the editing process to cater to client needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passion for YouTube and video content.

• 1-2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably within the YouTube sphere.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects or Davinci Resolve, depending on personal comfort.

• Excellent storytelling abilities with a solid understanding of pacing and narrative structure.

• Familiarity with SEO strategies for YouTube and comprehension of its policies.

• Remarkable attention to detail and a keen sense of visual aesthetics.

• Strong communication skills and the capability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

• Proven track record of adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent style.

• A portfolio or reel demonstrating your editing skills is a requirement.

• Fluency in English is essential (additional languages are a plus).

• Bonus points for prior experience with YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and Search Console.

• Bonus points for experience in an agency setting.

• Bonus points for experience in a SaaS start-up.
