Director, ServiceNow Architecture – Technical Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical vision, architecture, and quality of delivery for Opensity's ServiceNow instances and client projects.

• Supervise platform design, integrations, data models, and application architectures.

• Create, document, and uphold technical delivery standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

• Oversee, coach, and mentor ServiceNow developers and technical consultants.

• Collaborate with Services Product Management to align technical delivery strategies with the services roadmap.

• Enhance delivery quality, platform performance, and client satisfaction throughout various engagements.

• Lead technical architecture reviews and design solutions for complex or high-risk implementations.

• Act as the technical escalation point when necessary.

• Assess architectural decisions across ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.

• Assist in pre-sales and scoping by providing technical architecture insights, effort estimates, and risk evaluations.

• Monitor platform health, manage technical debt, and ensure instance hygiene while recommending remediation strategies.

• Keep track of ServiceNow releases, capabilities, and industry best practices, sharing insights across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in ServiceNow implementation and architecture.

• Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and Plus.

• Previous experience working with a ServiceNow partner, professional services organization, or managed services setting.

• Proven experience in establishing technical standards, governance, or delivery frameworks for a development team or practice.

• Background in coaching, mentoring, and nurturing technical talent.

• Strong client-facing communication abilities.

• Experience in presenting architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/Glide API scripting.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server.

• Knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• Active Certified ServiceNow Architect (CTA) certification is preferred.

• Additional ServiceNow certifications are advantageous.

• Experience with ServiceNow DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks such as ATF is preferred.

• Experience collaborating directly with product management or services leadership to influence delivery roadmaps is preferred.

• Background in supporting internal enterprise instances and external client-facing implementations is preferred.
