Senior Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Commission the SolBank Storage Power Block from CSI Energy Storage.

• Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance on Storage Power Blocks to fulfill warranty obligations.

• Oversee BESS equipment responsibilities as per Long Term Service Agreements.

• Deliver onsite diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on assistance.

• Ensure equipment maintenance while adhering to availability and capacity guarantees.

• Supervise and manage subcontractors on-site as necessary.

• Aid in the development of standard operating procedures and processes.

• Timely completion of work order documentation.

• Keep an accurate inventory of spare parts.

• Conduct Lockout/Tagout and switching procedures as required.

• Assist in client training during the commissioning phase.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies.

• Perform other assigned tasks and projects as needed.

• Collaborate with team members and partners to reach project objectives.

• Promote quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Travel to and execute tasks at project locations across the US.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Electrical Technician.

• At least 5 years of pertinent work experience in a service setting, ideally within the renewable energy sector.

• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 10 may be accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained shortly after hiring.

• Prior training and knowledge of inverters.

• Experience with SCADA is advantageous.

• Familiarity with general and national codes, medium-voltage power systems, and energy-storage system applications is a plus.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Previous experience with CMMS software is preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• First Aid training is a must.

• Willingness to travel to regional locations as necessary, over 50% of the time.
