This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide assistance and services for BMO’s Investment Operations function and its business stakeholders/customers.
• Implement investment product and service procedures in line with financial and regulatory standards as well as operational guidelines.
• Collect and structure data into both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Assist in executing change management initiatives and sustaining activities.
• Act as a problem-solving resource for junior team members.
• Organize work-related information to ensure precision and completeness.
• Process service requests, transactions, inquiries, and other routine tasks within service level agreements (SLAs).
• Accurately and promptly process transactions, activities, and services in response to stakeholder requests.
• Respond to questions and requests from internal and external stakeholders with accuracy and expertise.
• Adhere to documented policies and procedures to comply with SLAs.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation.
• Analyze data and information to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
• Identify, assess, resolve, or escalate issues and challenges.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Collaborate on the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and improvements.
• Assist in the creation of tools and the delivery of training.
• Complete a range of complex and diverse tasks and manage escalations.
• Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions in alignment with business strategy and relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
• Typically, 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field of study is desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in using relevant systems and technology – Good.
• Understanding of the business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls – Good.
• Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business – Good.
• Strong prioritization skills – Good.

• Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Good.
