This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and remote technical support for sophisticated microscopy systems and instruments

• Ensure swift issue resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

• Provide technical insights and feedback to Product Service Specialists

• Enhance product reliability through effective cross-departmental communication

• Adhere to service processes and documentation standards

• Collaborate with Sales and Shared Services teams

• Assist in training and knowledge transfer initiatives

• Meet revenue and utilization goals

• Operate remotely across Central and Northern Germany

• Report to the Area Service Manager as part of the DACH Service Organization

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training along with a minimum of two years of advanced technical specialization and several years of relevant professional experience, or alternatively, completed technical vocational training paired with extensive experience as a Field Service Engineer

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong methodological and problem-solving abilities

• Exceptional self-organization skills

• In-depth product knowledge

• Proficient IT skills, including SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office

• Good written and spoken proficiency in English

• Willingness to travel 80% within the designated territory or locations, including overnight stays

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Capability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 30 kg

• Previous experience in aftermarket service operations and a strong commercial mindset would be advantageous

• Familiarity with relevant business and service management systems would be a plus
