Senior Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

• Examine supply chain vulnerabilities

• Analyze and break down malware

• Develop and enhance open-source tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Researcher specializing in supply chain attacks and malware analysis

• Knowledge of open-source registry ecosystems (npm, PyPI, Maven) and their related attack surfaces

• Demonstrated capability to deliver software in a production setting

• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contemporary CI/CD pipelines

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance research and development workflows

• Self-motivated and independent, with a strong sense of ownership over projects

• Active involvement in open-source security tools or research initiatives

• Practical experience with decompilers, debuggers, and network traffic analysis

• Advanced skills in malware analysis, including obfuscation, encryption, anti-analysis, and sandbox evasion techniques

• Experience with web application penetration testing

• Contributions in the form of published CVEs, coordinated disclosures, write-ups, blogs, or research papers

• Background in public speaking at significant industry events (e.g., Black Hat, DEFCON, RSAC)

• A deep enthusiasm for cybersecurity, open-source communities, and tackling intricate ecosystem threats
