Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop centralized security systems and automation utilized throughout the organization.

• Safeguard cloud infrastructure, identity, and access across Rain’s operations.

• Evaluate new products, partners, and vendors prior to their launch.

• Provide guidance to engineers in the development of new products and integrations.

• Create AI agents and tools aimed at enhancing the speed and accuracy of security measures.

• Lead external security assessments and ensure that findings are addressed with verified solutions.

• Engage in the on-call rotation and support incident response efforts.

• Collaborate across detection, response, sensors, and threat intelligence with engineering, compliance, and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering, particularly in developing production security tools and controls.

• Proficient coding abilities in TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python.

• Experience in securing cloud infrastructure, identity, and access.

• Capable of identifying vulnerabilities, demonstrating their impact, and facilitating fixes with the responsible engineering teams.

• Previous experience in a fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency environment.

• Willingness and capability to participate in an on-call rotation and assist with incident response.

• Experience in blockchain security is a plus: including smart contract review, on-chain monitoring, custody, and multisig controls.

• Familiarity with AI security is advantageous: securing LLM applications and agents or integrating AI into security workflows.

• Experience in managing external audits or a bug bounty program is a plus.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions.
