Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new intake processes and address troubleshooting issues.

• Provide on-call support and manage basic user inquiries.

• Assist with IAM, particularly related to the client’s SSO platform.

• Independently resolve and support production-related issues.

• Deliver production support on a rotational schedule.

• Oversee daily intakes and incident management.

• Enhance certificate management practices.

• Improve logging and monitoring systems, and create potential dashboards.

• Expand the PingOne Protect application while collaborating with security to refine triggers and comprehend threats.

• Initiate PingCentral automation and facilitate customer self-service options.

• Collaborate with QA to develop automated testing scripts.

• Address user issues related to AD, networking, and DevOps, including lockouts, rogue/phantom errors, and login consistency.

• Manage incidents and new intake requests effectively.

• Configure and reset MFA settings.

• Collaborate with the Service Desk Engineering team.

• Broaden MFA capabilities across applications.

• Support user MFA initiatives, password resets, and related functionalities.

• Execute platform upgrades.

• Simplify federated trust between Ping and Entra.

• Enable SSO for global applications.

• Utilize DaVinci to enhance tailored self-service MFA and password-reset processes.

• Fortify resiliency and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in relevant fields.

• Familiarity with the Ping Identity Software suite (PingOne, PingProtect, PingFed).

• Expert proficiency in PingFederate.

• Understanding of legacy Java-based custom adapters utilizing Java/J2EE PingFed components and workflows.

• Experience with intricate integrations, custom PCVs, and various data stores.

• Strong proficiency in PingOne, PingOne SSO, DaVinci, and PingOne MFA.

• Knowledge of M365 SSO integration and EntraID for SSO implementations.

• Capability to manage on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

• Experience with Google and IaaC, including GKE, Terraform, Helm charts, Git, Jenkins, and containerization.

• Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, and similar languages.

• Experience migrating from PingFederate to PingOne.

• Familiarity with Oracle Authorization (OIM, OAG) and Entra is advantageous.

• Ability to engage in internal and external meetings via video calls, as needed.

• Willingness to work onsite at corporate or client locations, as required.

• Capacity to remain stationary at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead as necessary.

• Hand-eye coordination for operating computers and office equipment.

• Close vision ability, tolerance for fluorescent lighting, and focus adjustment capability.
