Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop and/or implement tools to identify vulnerabilities in Isovalent software.

• Optimize security tools to concentrate on the most critical signals.

• Create uniform security processes across product development teams.

• Assess findings from LLMs, SAST/DAST scanners, cloud security assessments, external security audits, and penetration tests.

• Continuously enhance security processes with a strong emphasis on metrics.

• Evaluate the technical aspects and risks associated with vulnerabilities.

• Review proposed solutions for vulnerabilities.

• Prioritize security tasks based on risk factors.

• Collaborate with development, release, and Cisco security teams.

• Ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities and comprehensive documentation of security posture.

• Promote adherence to security best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background in information security or a relevant field, with substantial knowledge of Linux security principles.

• Extensive experience in automating security processes utilizing Go, Python, Bash, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Proven experience in identifying, validating, and categorizing security vulnerabilities.

• Demonstrable experience in leading security projects from conception to implementation.

• Outstanding organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in network security.

• Familiarity with integrating LLMs into security scanning workflows.

• Proficiency in configuring fuzzers and/or DAST scanning tools.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
