Senior Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment and enhancement of cloud security solutions within intricate client settings.

• Act as a technical guide and point of escalation for junior and mid-level engineers.

• Partner with architects and stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures.

• Develop and implement security measures across Azure services, including Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, and DLP/AIP.

• Work together with infrastructure and application teams to guarantee the secure deployment of Azure Compute, Networking, and Storage resources.

• Monitor and address security incidents utilizing Log Analytics and SIEM tools.

• Assist in identity and access management initiatives, encompassing IAM, PIM, and Access Packages.

• Create and maintain security documentation, standards, and best practices.

• Contribute to automation initiatives using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to enhance security operations.

• Engage in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.

• Provide insights on secure architecture and design patterns within Azure.

• Stay updated with new threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering, particularly with Microsoft Azure.

• Practical experience with Azure security tools and services, such as Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure Policy, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Firewall.

• Knowledge of third-party IAM and security tools, including Okta, integration of Okta with Entra ID, OneLogin, and Splunk.

• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident remediation methods, including HIPAA/HITRUST, FedRAMP, NIST, PCI DSS, and CJIS.

• Familiarity with third-party firewalls like Palo-Alto and Fortinet.

• Proficient in Azure Networking, Compute, and Storage services.

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Comprehensive understanding of identity and access management in Azure environments.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is mandatory.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in multi-cloud environments is advantageous.

• SC-200 certification is highly desired.

• SC-300 certification is highly desired.

• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification is preferred.
