This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.
• Take ownership of the technical security posture for production AI systems, including their infrastructure, pipelines, and agents.
• Strengthen cloud infrastructure, APIs, internal tools, and CI/CD pipelines by implementing encryption, managing secrets, logging activities, and enforcing access controls.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, adversarial testing, threat modeling, and manual security assessments.
• Lead the remediation of vulnerabilities to ensure they are effectively resolved.
• Protect AI and agent-based systems from prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unauthorized actions, unsafe outputs, and data breaches.
• Monitor production AI systems for irregularities, abuse attempts, and unsafe decision-making.
• Manage Azumo's automated security, cost, and architectural audits across client codebases.
• Develop alerting and detection mechanisms, investigate incidents, and guide containment, remediation, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Maintain operational visibility over access patterns and security incidents.
• Address security questionnaires, vendor risk assessments, enterprise RFPs, and engage in technical security discussions with clients.
• Conduct architecture evaluations and advocate for secure development practices alongside engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams.
• Collaborate within client repositories, tools, and compliance reviews, including working with HIPAA requirements.
• Over 5 years of practical experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, application security, DevSecOps, or offensive security.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, Git, containers, and API design.
• Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.
• Proven track record of identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in live production systems.
• Experience in securing AI or LLM-driven systems or automated agents, particularly in relation to prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unauthorized actions, unsafe outputs, and data leakage.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliance frameworks, as well as expectations for financial and consumer data handling.
• Ability to self-prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Active engagement with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in real-world delivery tasks.
• Excellent communication abilities for articulating findings to engineers and clients.
• Proficient in written and spoken English at a C1 level or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Understanding of prompt-injection attacks, adversarial AI techniques, AI guardrails, and behavioral anomaly detection.
• Experience with cloud security tools, SIEM and observability platforms, penetration testing tools, endpoint security solutions, and infrastructure-as-code security, such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Previous experience in fast-growing startups, fintech, banking, or payments sectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or similar.
• Contributions to open-source security tools, published technical articles, or active involvement in the security community.
